You can learn a lot about people by the clothes they wear.
Clothes are an important representative of people’s life style and religion. Also, clothes can show us where a group of people are from. Moreover, in a group of people with same culture and nationality, the way of wearing shows some significant characteristics of each person. Therefore, clothes teach us about people’s culture as well as their behavior and, as a result, I strongly concur with this statement.
Human beings, throughout the history and all around the world, have used clothes as one of their significant needs. The style and model of clothes are affected by weather and climate of a place as well as people’s culture and religion. For instance, some people from Arabian countries wear clothes with light colors to protect themselves against warm weather; also their clothes are long and loose because of their religion, Islam. Sometimes these people don’t change their style of dressing when they go abroad, with different climate and culture, because they are used to that; as a result, one can learn at least about their culture as well as their nationality.
In a group of people with same culture, religion, and nationality; differences in clothes are related to the ages, characters, jobs and so on. Some people wear formally and some wear casually which are partially a sign of their life style. For example, in my opinion people who wear formally are from a family or society with high discipline. In addition, education and the field of study can influence the way of people’s wearing. As an example, artists can be identified by their dressing way.
Moreover, some people are always wearing regularly and cleanly which indicates they live with regularity as well. On the other hand, there are some people whose wearing is always messy and it is an indicator for being messy and grubby in other cases of their life as well.
To sum up, the way of people’s wearing can be a symbol of their culture, behavior and life style. As a result, judging by the clothes someone wears, one can learn a lot of information about a person.
