Dear Sir,

With due respect and humble submission I beg to state that I am a student of your institute form 162 batch, in Bs. Economics department. Since my admission I have never been in probation, I will not hide the fact that I was always an average student with midpoint grades.

My father was never a job holder neither a business man we have a land of 5.25 kathas as a slum made there. Our earning from the slum is approximately close to 60 to 70 thousands a month but at times when we don’t have tenants the earning falls to 40 to 30 thousand. Recently, my father got the proposition to invest in a manpower business but unfortunately it ended up to be a scam and he lost almost 15 lacks (from the savings of almost 12 years), which is quite a lot for a medico family like us. Apart from that we also have a huge expenditure on my mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and my brother who is studying in BRAC University. It is getting utterly difficult for my father to uphold the expenditure, even though my brother is working part time in several organizations and schools. Being the only person in home to look after my mother, I cannot do part time jobs to support the expenditure. My father is at his retired age so he cannot find any work to fund for the increasing expenditure and to defray my educational expenses.

In this circumstances, I fervently pray and hope that you would be kind to grant me financial aid and a part time job within the campus so that I may continue my studies further.

I incline you be kind enough to grant my prayer, I would spare no pain to prove myself worthy of your favor.

I remain

Sir,

Your most obedient pupil

Mehrab Fatima
