00There’s no doubt that all people living in a wonderful world of a theatre dream of making their play brilliant. But how to achieve perfection in acting and staging? How to make people admire a play and remember it for a long time? This task is not so easy as it seems at first sight. I’d like to reveal three possible ways that, to my mind, may lead a play to success.02br
00First and foremost, it is hard work and talent that go hand in hand. I strongly believe that success in any deed depends to a large extent on working hard and striving for perfection. Just imagine how much time and effort are spent on rehearsals so as to develop technique and precise timing!02br
00 Talent is another thing that an actor or actress needs to keep the audience excited and interested.02br
00An actor should enter into the role easily and naturally. He should be the whole of the hero, his whole mind. An actor can play his part properly only by digging into the inside of a character.02br
00Secondly, the success of the play depends not only on the cast’s playing, but also on music, decorations, richness and abundance of costumes and make-up. Undoubtedly, most talented set and costume designers do their best to reveal their skills and make the cast and the stage look irresistible. And music…It can charm and simply carry you away if a gifted conductor leads the orchestra.02br
00Thirdly, education plays a vital role in any sphere of our life. And theatre is not an exception.02br
00I can’t but agree with the following quotation: “The theatre of our century, and centuries past is a theatre whose presentation and appeal is intellectual”. All members of the cast, including the stage director, choreographer, set and costume designer should know all the secrets and techniques of making a play brilliant. Unfortunately, it’s hardly possible without education.02br
00To sum it up, I’d like to say that theatre deserves a lot of praise for sticking to the principle that whatever is done should be at the best possible level. That’s why no praise could be too high for brilliant acting and staging of the play. 0-
