My father and his two brothers have only *to* get together to bring the house down.
I find this *to* inappropriate; is it?

This to should not be used according to me...shouldn't it be "have got together"; why is "to" used at all?

'Have' is not part of a present perfect in your sentence. 'Have only to' is an idiomatic expression -

I have only to only to sit down and the doorbell rings.

The idea is that whenever the first thing, however trivial, happens, then the second thing happens.
