Research has shown that overeating is as harmful as smoking. Therefore, the advertising of certain food products should be banned in the same way as the advertising of cigarettes in some countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

A convey has shown people who overeating probably have a health problem as harmful as people smoke. So the advertisements of some foods must be prohibited as cigarettes’ advertisements in some cities. I completely agree with this opinion.

There are some reasons why overeating is probably harmful to body’s human. The first reason is that at that time, the stomach will be full of food and it can not metabolize food. Therefore, people seem to be uncomfortable and even have an indigestion . It will cause to the death if that person can not suffer. Futhermore, someone eats a lot also have a health problem. Overweight is an example of overeating. People who eat a lot of food, especially the fried food, will easily become fat. Not only do the problem of physical attractiveness they have but also people have cholestoron, blood pressure and stroke diseases, which will cause painful and the death comes earlier than other people.

Apart from some reasons I expressed above , I believe that we have to regulate or even ban the media and some advertisements which contain unhealthy food as the same way as cigarettes. One reason is that unhealthy foods are marketed in a way that attract both children and adults. We are swayed by glamourous advertisements. We may know that some foods are not good for the body but we still want to eat or drink just because of the curious and then interested in the sweet or taste good of that unhealthy food. For instance, coffee is not good for the brain’s human but people are increasingly using it dramatically nowsadays because it help them concentrate or just taste good.

In conclusion, I believe that overeating is harmful to the body and we should ban some advertisements about unhealthy foods as the same way as cigarettes in some countries.
