As major cities in the world are growing today, so do their problems. What are problems for people who
are living in the cities as the result of continued growth? How these problems might be solved?


In the industrialization and modernization period, metropolitan areas are developing which leads to several problems. Pollution and unemployment are two serious issues, and the key to solving these problems are setting stricter rules, providing courses and workshops.
There are a number of problems as a result of the continued growth in urban areas. The first problem is pollution such as water pollution and air pollution. To expand the economy, it is important to have a large number of industries and factories. However, some factories waste untreated water into rivers. To Lich river is an obvious consequence of water pollution, the dark color and odor make residents uncomfortable. Another problem is overpopulation. Urban areas provide more opportunities than other places which attract people from all regions, especially rural and mountainous areas. For instance, Hanoi capital is overcrowded because people come here to have a well-paid job and a higher standard of living.
There are several actions that could be taken to mitigate these problems mentioned above. First, the government has to ban stricter rules involving environmental issues. Factories and industries are required to install water treatment systems. Second, it is essential to provide education and vocational training to young people. If they are well-equipped with practical skills and experiences, they can easily find a job to guarantee a stable income. In addition, younger are also encouraged to participate in workshops to learn essential skills such as problem-solving, money management, and independent thinking.
In conclusion, there are various consequences of the growth in major cities, and measures can be implemented to tackle these issues.
