Topic: Some people believe that studying at university or college is the best route to a successful career,
while others believe that it is better to get a job straight after school. Discuss both views and give your
opinion.

Nowadays, after graduation, many students consider whether they continue studying or go to work. Many
people assert that the best way to a glittering career is to go on studying at university or college, whereas
others think that working right after school is much better. From my point of view, the choice depends on
the individuals.

On the one hand, the choice to continue studying at university or college has some benefits. Firstly, we
will have high qualifications that help us to have a job with a good salary because interviewers will
evaluate you and your ability through your qualifications. For instance, my friend’s brother graduated in
an international university with good marks so he was accepted to work for a company with a high salary
of $ 6000 a month. Secondly, studying at high levels gives us a chance to have a job easier than others.
Nowadays, finding a great job is a problem because perhaps thousands of people scramble for a position,
and this leads to competitions of interviewees and makes pressure on us. Therefore, if we have high
qualifications, our employers will be deeply impressed by our levels and will decide to accept our
application.

On the other hand, working right after graduation instead of going on studying also has certain
advantages. First of all, we will not pay much money for studying and go straight to earn money.
Moreover, we do not worry about what is our job in the future because we chose a job that perhaps we
stay with for a long time even forever. This also helps us have independent finance. Secondly, we will
receive experience after work because we experienced them. Even we can solve mistakes faster than
people having high level because we had solved them before these people graduated. Moreover, we give
much more believers because people believe our experience and ability, therefore we will have more
opportunities to promote than others.

In conclusion, after graduation maybe leads students to confuse about their future. However, I also
believe that the choice to continue studying or working to earn money are also the best ways to get a
successful career. The choice depends on the student’s demands.
