Tarnagul is a small town near Melbourne. The maps show the town's development over a period of time.

The diagrams illustrate the changes in Tarnagul, a small town situated near Melbourne in 1900, in 1950 and in 2000.

In general, there are significant changes in Tarnagul like the local museum, craft market and tourist shop are constructed in 2000, the size of town area and the areas used to grow fruits had been changed over a period of time.

On the West of the river, dairy was replaced with a big area that was used for growing lemons and grapefruit in 1950. After 50 years, it had been replaced with the wildlife sanctuary.

On the East of the river, mandarins growing area had been used to grow oranges and there are a total of two areas grew oranges in 1950. However, in the next 50 years, both the areas used to grow oranges were abandoned and a part of oranges growing areas in the South of the road was replaced with the park. Town area was expanded in 1950 and its size had been reduced after 50 years. There are packing sheds in 1950 and they were replaced with the museum, market and tourist shop. Moreover, tracks were built in 1950 and they were removed after 50 years of services.
