Topic: Some people argue that the government should spend money on public services and facilities, but not on the arts. Do you agree or disagree?

It is true that the government should invest money on community services and equipment. While I accept that this may right some side, I believe that raising funds for arts is also important.

On the one hand, government spends expenditure on arts because of some reasons. Firstly, arts are used as a symbol of traditional culture of country. For example, Egyptian built pyramid and sphinx as a symbol of ancient culture in thousands years ago. It indicates slaver’s life that as controlled by Pharaoh’s rules. Secondly, Arts help people relief stress, especially in the modern life that brings to them a lot of pressure.

On the other hand, I believe that providing fund for public facilities should be the priority of the government. The first reason is traffic congestion can be sharply decreased by building new wider roads. It is the best solution to deal with the increasing number of cars and motorbikes, especially in city central. For instance, my brother can go to school early by crossing overpass instead of stuck in the traffic jams. Furthermore, building public facilities allow people to improved their standard of living by international hospitals and education equipment. If people are healthy and educated methodically, there will be higher work productivities and the country will prosper as a whole.

In conclusion, it is certain true that government should spend funds on public services and facilities but this is by no means providing money on arts industry are unnecessary.
