Topic: Some people believe that unpaid community service should be a compulsory part of high school programmes ( for example working for a charity, improving the neighborhood or learning sport to younger children)

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

ANSWER

Many people think that is is compulsory to provide high school students with community service in their curriculum. This is a good idea because they can gain many benefits and experiences in their future life

Firstly, working voluntary acts as an effective way to enhance students's social life skills. they have chance to meet many different people, therefore they have to learn how to communicate and get on well with others to work together in harmony. Taking part in community activities not only gives students experiences but also teaches them how balance their time and live independently that are very important for their work as well as their life

Secondly, working for a charity in a group also heightens students' team work skills. They will have more experiences in leadership and organization skills which help them have more opportunities to get a well-paid job when they graduate.

Finally, teaching sports to younger students holds an essential key in developing their life. Nowadays when all most students spend time on studying and using computers which make them feel tired and pressure, playing sports can release all stress and have a healthier life to continue chase their dream. Moreover, keeping students busy also can prevent them from committing crime.

In conclusion, proving unpaid community service in their curriculum in high school is reasonable. this brings many advantages for both students'life and the society. Therefore, I hope this plan will be soon applied in every school all over the world
