Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission for museum outweigh disadvantages?

It is presumably reasonable as a myriad of museums collects money for entrance in the contemporary world. Nonetheless, some counterparts reveal the non-charging policy and visitors are free to enter. From my own perspective, the benefits of paying money for entries relatively dominate its disadvantages and I will explain in this essay.

It is undoubtedly profit is the decisive factor in running a business. They need finance to maintain, upgrade and manage their organization relentlessly. What is more, the operator has to foot the bill, for instance, electricity bill, water bill. For museums, collecting money from entrance fees is apparently a unique method to make profit. Additionally, the action of charging fees is prone to restrict people, thus, the state of being crowded is avoidable. The manager will find ease in controlling and assuring safety for visitors as well as their property such as exhibits.

Having said that collecting fees for entries expose evidently its drawback. To specify, the social status difference is probably witnessed by naked eyes. To exemplify, the underprivileged individuals, who are living in deprived condition but find enthusiasm in broadening their horizon, don’t have the capacity to pay. Thereby, it is preferable for them to visit a museum with no cost for entrance. As a result, it sparkles another predicament for non-free museums as the quantity of customers possibly plunges.

Despite the mentioned disadvantages above, I reckon that it is rational for the museum to take charge for entering permission. In the modern world, money has lost its value. Therefore, income and revenue are pivotal and indispensable for any museum operation.
