The given diagram presents the process of how chocolate is made passing different steps starting from tree to liquid chocolate.
Generally speaking, there are 10 steps in total in the production process of chocolate where the first six phases of producing chocolate are done in the field area from where the raw materials are collected, and the last four steps are completed in the factory.
Cocoa trees are mostly grown in South America, America, and Indonesia. After harvesting ripped red pods from trees, the beans with white color are collected, and then in the third stage of the processing beans are placed in a big container to be fermented. Until step six where the beans are carried to the factory, they are spread in the full sunlight and then packed in large sacks to carry them easily.
Taking to the factory, the beans are roasted and crushed to remove the shell. Finally, the inner parts are pressed for getting liquid chocolate.
