My reply is:
I currently work for Lahmeyer International (India) Pvt. Ltd., a leading Engineering Consultancy Company in Power (Thermal. Hydro & Renewable), T&D, Transportation and the water sector. I am having an experience of around four years and am working as a Senior Executive (Business Development). Key job responsibilities include participating in tendering, procurement and contracts for projects for the the above mentioned sector. My responsibilities also include budgeting, costing and estimation for the consultancy services for the project. Preparation and finalization of contracts is the final stage of my involvement in any project. I have been deeply involved at every stage of project development with a wide variety of projects and sectors to learn from. Working on these projects and some of them being multilaterally funded opened my eyes to the role of these funding agencies in the development of countries and supporting the citizens in living a better life. I also would like to put in my contribution to these countries by providing my experience and efforts to World Bank. This would also broaden my view and experience, by removing the limit of just one country. This is the basic motivation behind me applying for the position.
