1. This section will elaborate the stability region of G method and the strategies applied are identical as previously introduced in Chapter 5. By applying test equation (3.2) in the corrector formulae and arrange them in a matrix form yields...(formulae in matrix form)
2. The equations (4.4)-(4.7) will be written in the form of A+B+C

3. Given below the stability polynomial obtained after solving [A+B+C] with
A=a+b+c.
4. The stability region obtained corresponding to these stability polynomials
(5.1)-(5.4) are illustrated in Figure 5, 6 and 7.

7. Therefore, the stability polynomials below are constructed by solving

As we can see in Figures 8-12 show the region of absolute stability for first order G method meanwhile the absolute stability region for second order G method are illustrated in Figures 12-14 with the corresponding step-size. The stability region arising from this method is inside the boundary of the dotted lines and analyzed that the pattern obtained is similar as F method which is the stability region grows as the step size becomes smaller.
