Please change trains here at Nogoya

Passengers going to the Tokaido, Chuo, Kansai, Meitetsu, and Kintetsu lines, please change trains here at Nagoya.

Is here really necessary?
If the next station isn't Nagoya, here is wrong, right?

Thanks

If the next station is Nagoya, then here is wrong. If this station is Nagoya, then here is correct. If here is not included in the announcement in this second case, then some confused passengers (including Mr Micawber) will not realize that this is Nagoya Station-- so it is necessary.

If you want to announce "Hey people! You need to change now!" in a more subtle way, then using the "here" is a good idea. But unless the next station is Nagoya, it would be wrong (unless you were pointing to it on a transit map, or something like that).

Edit: I was too slow. When I say "next" I mean you are pulling into the station - you're not still at the prior one.

Got it! Thanks, Mister and GG. This is announced just before the train arrives Nagoya.
