The biggest problem which faces and will face my country (<non-English text removed>) during the next ten years is a decline in population known as a demographic crisis.
I have to admit, the standards of living in Russia where I live are unfortunate and poor. The most part of population lives below poverty line and can hardly make ends meet.
Russia is the biggest country in the world but the population density is very low. It is drastically decreasing and scientists are predicting that during the next ten years we'll lose approximately ten million people. It's a very serious number and it means a demographic catastrophe which Russian have to overcome in the nearest future.
Many politicians are pointing out that decrease in population has had a bad effect on Russian economy. Furthermore, this situation can threaten the safety and integrality of the country.
First of all, in my opinion, in order to solve this huge problem we have to understand its reasons. The reasons are unstable economical situation, low standards of living, immigration, plus many people have an unhealthy lifestyle. In my point of view, a wise immigration and economical policies should be pursued in order to increase the population and to prevent demographic catastrophe.
Another problem is an economical collapse y which can be caused by the fall of oil prices. Russian economy depends mostly on oil prices. If there is an oil price fall in the nearest future then it could lead to economical crisis and in order to prevent this from happening agricultural and industrial sectors must be developed with the help of authorities.
To sum up, solving these two problems which I described in my essay is a difficult task but they are solvable. People and authorities have to cooperate and to do everything in their power to prevent both demographic catastrophe and economical crisis.
