PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THESE QUESTIONS

Which word would you use in each sentence or how would you say them please?

1 How cold/hot is the water?
2 As long as you don't have a stable job, you can't afford to buy one.
3 A lot of people don't like it when strangers or people they don't know very well stay in their homes alone/unattended.
4 I think about what other might think in a particular situation. I try putting myself in their shoes.
5 That was enough of a reason to get me to play.
6 I want people to like you for who you are not what you give off/make out to be.

Thank you

1 How cold/hot is the water? You could say either depending on the context. If the water in question is expected to be hot then you would ask how hot it is and visa versa.
