Please be aware

Hi there,

Friends, I want to announce to my students that our class will not be held today.

Which sentence is better?

  1. Friends, Please be informed that today, the class is cancelled.
  2. Friends, Please be aware that today, the class is cancelled.
  3. Friends, Please be informed that today's class is cancelled.
  4. Friends, Please be aware that today's class is cancelled.

Is there any real difference between "be informed" and "be aware", or they can be used interchangeably?

Which one makes sense? "Today's class" or "Today, the class"?
