What is the most natural way to write this sentence?

Can I omit 'at' and say 'hall' instead of 'hallway'?

say 'hall' instead of 'hallway'? Yes

Natural English is

eg She entered a room at the end of the hall.

eg She entered a room down the end of the hall.


We often say casually went into instead of entered.
