Economic progress is often used to measure a country's success. However, some people believe that other factors are more important. What other factors should also be considered when measuring a country's success? Do you think one factor is more important than others?

It is true that the economic development of a country seems to be a fundamental method to measure how successful that country is. While there are other criterias which influence effectively a country’s success, such as education or healthcare system, I still wholly believe that the country economy is by far the most important factor to rate the level of success of a country.

There are several factors considered when measuring a country’s success. First, we cannot deny the vital role that education has been playing because of the lower rates of literacy and numeracy, the greater that country succeed. Second, healthcare system plays an integral part in our daily lives due to the ever-increasing average life expectancy of most successful nations. Finally, the relationship between a country with other countries also mirrors the development of a country. A country with a poor relationship with others cannot be regarded as a successful country.

In my opinion, the progress of economic development is of paramount importance. A sustainable education system needs to be invested in by a healthy economy. For example, governments can provide money to build more schools, hire more teachers, or enhance the quality of courses. Moreover, spending more money on healthcare system can help people to reduce many potential health risks like cancer. Furthermore, developed countries which have a successful economy can provide money to developing nations, that helps to strengthen the relationship between countries.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the development of a country’s economy outweighs most other factors in terms of assessing the success of that country.
