When choosing a job, the salary is the most important consideration. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniable that the salary is one of the primary things which are affected by career determination. However, it would be wrong to consider it as the most important impact on an occupation of each person.

On the one hand, money is getting more and more important in daily life recently. Firstly, there are not many people who come from a wealthy family. Therefore, getting a job with the high salary is the only way to improve their lives. Secondly, for most fresh-graduates who do not have much experience of as well as passionate about anything, the salary would be the thing that they care most when choosing a job. Finally, in recent years, many millennials are easy to be proud of working in a multi-national company with the high salary.

On the other hand, I still believe that the salary is not the most important aspect that we should consider about. Many people choose a job because of the working environment. One clear example would be my sister who decided to quit her job because she cannot cooperate with her former manager. Additionally, young generation prefers working with reasonable salary but they can satisfy with their job than choosing a job with high salary without happiness. Moreover, the higher salary the more pressure you will get. Especially, it is more demanding when you cannot totally turn off your smartphone or email.

To sum up, while the salary is sort of important, it is true that there is more reason which influences the decision of choosing an occupation.
