pleasant and pleasing

Hello,

I don´t know the exact difference between borh terms. I ususally use pleased for people, but what about the other two?

If I get pleasing service in a hotel, I like it. I feel pleased. Think of pleasing as the thing/person that gives the service, pleased as the person that receives the service.
