pleasa help me correct the following ungrammatical sentences

1.if they would have been at the airport before 8:00 the most would have not waited too long. Had we know the flight delay, we would not be there too early, the host said.

2.the requirement that mary works in the training center should have been issued yesterday so she can begin work soon
