I work as team leader and know to deal with deadlines and team members. One of the main tasks of a supervisor is to split the responsibility in a acceptable way. It has to be adequate and effective. Deadlines are natural in all work fields. The best way to be not under pressure is an excellent planning. One of my greatest problems as supervisor was to try to do as much as possible by my self. But I realest fast that a splitting of responsibility means not failing. More important as the own obligation is the achievement of the project. The supervisor has the authority over the members of the team. I think that respect and honesty is the best way to get along with other people.
