-Last weekend Mia played with her parents hide and seek couple of times.
-She also had a lot of colorful balloons and she enjoyed playing with them.

"Hide-and-seek" is the object of the verb "played". In English we don't put any words between these two elements of a sentence:

Last weekend Mia played hide-and-seek a couple of times with her parents.
OR
Last weekend Mia played hide-and-s
