I know every words in the above sentence, but cann't understand the meaning Emotion: sad.

Is it saying that she doesn't have idea of privacy, treating everywhere like her playground. One must be careful all the time as Juli is on the slide and may rush down any time?

I think the sentences you give are trying to combine two ideas that, in my view, don't go together

A person's space is the area around them where they do not want other people to be unless they are invited. It may be, for many people, about a metre, though it depends on the circumstances and the social custom (and on the individual person)
