Play "knockin' on heaven's door" by/with/on the guitar

Play "knockin' on heaven's door" by/with/on the guitar.

Which preposition is better?

Should I put 'the' before 'guitar' here?

Play "knockin' on heaven's door" on the piano.

This is correct, right?

Thanks
