Well, vocabulary games do help to an extent. But I prefer offline games, because they make you hunt for words you don't know, rather than just putting letters together and seeing whether the computer accepts them.
Ultimately, there's no substitute for books, and the lovely old overused Dictionary sitting here beside me.
Depends on what game is it. You can learn whole bunch of vocabularies in RPG games,like "NeverWinter Night" or "Diablo 2". During the game is running you might feel like reading a fiction.
