Vocabulary

plausible/possible

Hi!

'Is it plausible a cat could beat a dog?'

'Is it possible a cat could beat a dog?'

Are these interchangeble at certain rate? They do sound pretty darn close when people use them on verbal, I couldn't tell the difference when I hear them, I'm trying to see if I could logically interpret it even if my ears ccouldn't tell. Thank you - Terr
