planning my coursework. Is is correct?

During 4 visits I decided to focus on physical play considering that Oliver loves playing outdoors and fine motor activities such as drawing or painting. He enjoys running, riding a bike, kicking and throwing a ball, etc. I am planning to concentrate on gross motor skills as well as on fine motor skills.
I want to concentrate on Oliver's gross motor skills during two of 4 visits. I am planning to carry out some fine motor activities for other two visits.
Physical play includes activities that use physical movements to allow children to use their energy, and it gives children the chance to develop gross and fine motor skills, learn new things and socialize. Physical play also benefits a child's health. Understanding the importance of physical play is vital to child's development.
I would like to do a research why physical play is so extremely important and meaningful for child’s development.
