Plain missing

I found something I didn't understand while browsing a Web site selling a USB device that can help boost your old computer. In one of its advertising paragraph it says, "Amazingly, Xtra-PC even works on computers with no hard drives. That's right! Broken, damaged, or just plain missing – Xtra-PC will have your computer running like new again even without a hard drive!"

I wonder what "plain missing" means. Please help.

Sorry, but why is an old computer missing? Does that mean "missing" a part or what? Maybe I have misunderstood what the word "missing " mean here.
