Places/spots

Is either of these sentence correct:

a) "I would like to ask when there will be places available in that clinic for me to undergo a same day treatment."

b) "I would like to ask when there will be spots available in that clinic for me to undergo a same day treatment."

Note: By 'places' or 'spots', I actually mean 'time available'

Christine Christie Is either of these sentence correct: They are both OK, but both "place" and "spot" are liable to be construed literally as physical areas. I might use "appointments". By the way, I would hyphenate "same-day treatment".
