places bottles from most to least

How should I correctly write this please?

Place the bottles from most to least in amount . This one has the most juice in it, that one the second most. That one the 3rd most. /3rd least.

Thank you

There are many ways to say it. I would try to be as clear as possible, even if it takes a longer sentence. Here is one wording: Arrange the bottles in order, beginning with the one with the greatest amount of juice in it and ending with the bottle with the least.

Hi Doctor D,

What do you think of my original sentence? Is it natural and correct?

Place the bottles from most to least in amount . (is "most to least IN AMOUNT" natural?)

This one has the most juice in it, that one the second most. That one the 3rd most. /3rd least. (Here would you put "most or least and the end?)

Thank you Doctor D

No, the original sentences were awkward and unclear. "in amount' doesn't tell you what was being held in the bottles.

You could also say "Arrange the bottles by how much juice they hold..." (and so forth).

Hi Doctor D,

Could I ask you 2 questions please?

Is "in order" followed by "of" or "from"?

In order of/from most to least...

Could you please help me with this thread, and tell me what you think as I'm having trouble with it

Thank you so much

I only have time for the first question right now.

You can use several wordings.
List the coins in the order that you bought them.
List the coins in the order of their size.
Arrange the coins in order, from biggest to smallest.

Note that "from" here follows a comma (because you are explaining what that order is, as an afterthought).
