Vocabulary

placements/interships

Hello,
Which verb(s) are most frequently used in collocation with these nouns? Here's a sentence by Cambridge Dictionary "The trainee teachers do a school placement in the summer term." I have also seen "undertake" used in collocation with placement. Is it fine to use these two verbs or not?

Thank you

I wouldn't say 'undertake' is wrong, but I almost always see 'do'.

Searching online, I found all the verbs below followed by "an internship".

obtain, get, lead to, complete, offer, apply for, start, begin, look into, be considered for, seek, seek out, earn, land, have, do, interview for, want, learn a lot from, wrap up
