placement of "usually"

Hi,
"usually" and other adverbs are usually placed before verbs and after BE and after auxiliary verbs when used in the middle of the sentence.

However, in my Azar's book I found an example sentence:

"Jane usually isn't on time for class".

So what is the difference between this sentence and:

"Jane isn't usually on time for class."

Is there any rule for using "usually" with negative BE?

And how about:

"I usually don't do that." and "I don't usually do that."

Both sound good to me. Emotion: smile So, can I choose where I put "usually"? And if so, can I do the same with other adverbs too?

Thank you.
