Placement of [tradition] in [impression/sense/feel]

(1a) I like the old design of your new house. It gives me a traditional impression. (my version)

(1b) I like the old design of your new house. It gives me an impression of tradition. (my friends' revision)

(2a) I like the old design of your new house. It gives me a traditional sense. (my version)

(2b) I like the old design of your new house. It gives me a sense of tradition. (my friends' revision)

(3a) I like the old design of your new house. It gives me a traditional feel. (my version)

(3b) I like the old design of your new house. It gives me a feel of tradition. (my friends' revision)

What is your intended meaning?

The design of the house is traditional, and when I am in the house, I get the same feeling as I do when I am in spaces with a traditional design. See the pictures on these sites for "traditional design."

This suggests I like the former design of ..., i.e., I like the design that you abandoned and are no longer using. It might suggest also that you don't like the current design, the design which will actually be used.

Is that what you meant?
