Placement of [expensive food] and [a few times]

(1) Jack was very generous. During his short visit, he offered some people expensive food a few times who worked with him on a major business project.

(2) Jack was very generous. During his short visit, he offered some people expensive food who worked with him on a major business project a few times.

I don't know where to put "food a few times" correctly in the sentence. Please help me. Thank you.
