1-Check out the trailer for the movie Lady Chatterley's Lover on the internet site ABC. 2-Check out the trailer for the movie Lady Chatterley's Lover, on the internet site ABC.
I think in 1 "on the internet site ABC" is adverbial. You are told where to check out the trailer. That does not mean that the trailer cannot be found on other sites. In 2, "on the internet site ABC" seems to me to be adjectival. The sentence is telling us where the trailer is. Is that correct? Gratefully, Navi.
Top answer
It should read 'on the ABC internet site'. I see no shift in function; the comma is merely odd in #2. Both tell us that we should look at it on ABC.
