Srinivasulu, have been newly elected as General Secretary, Nellore District Association of the deaf during the passed resolution in that Special Meeting on date 31st July, 2005 during the year 2005-08 (three years) It is registered since 1989 with the aims and objections the Deaf Sports welfare, employment, Training and Night club. Hearing disabled can be eligible to admit Membership and total number of 150 adults and affiliated to AP Sports Council of the deaf, Hyderabad to promote the sports development during the participation State and National Sports Tournaments and won laurles medals in the entire of Nellore Team.
Now Nellore Dist. Assn. of the Deaf has been taken responsibilty to host the 2nd AP State Volleyball Championship of the Deaf to be held at AC Subba Reddy Stadium, Nellore from 5th to 8th January, 2005. 18 Districts Team Entry form received i.e. Senior Men and Women, Jr.Boys and Girls and Sub.Jr.Boys and Girls and total 425 participants. The selected team of AP will participate in National Volleyball Championship of the Deaf to be held at Gujarat during 27th to 31st January, 2006 for the first time.
I am responsible to request the Government to sanction house sites for the use of Association Office, reservation deaf employment quota as per rules. Govt. of Andhra Pradesh must help the Financial aid to hearing problem to provide self employment and loan eligible. Deaf and Dumb children must be set up in Rural Development.
I am thanksgiving to all VIP, Deaf members, Parents, friends, Seniors to support me the elevation to the post of General Secretary and best wishes to them.
