Pirates II - Dead Man's Chest

I went to see the Pirates movie last night, and had a lot of fun watching it. The critics are giving it really mixed reviews, and I will never say it's a "good" movie, but it was really entertaining. The entire water wheel sword fight scene was worth the price of admission, and Johnny Depp is just fabulous. One of the things that made me laugh was the unexpected vocabulary used by the pirates.

Has anyone else seen it yet? What did you think?

Oh man i saw the trailer but not yet the movie. it seems really great, the visual effects are awesome and the funny parts could never be more interpreted by johnny depp and orlando bloom. Has it come out in DVD?

I had a similar reaction to the film. It wasn't great, but it was fun and entertaining, which is pretty much what I expected.

Well, Davy Jones looks like someone whose head was morphed into an octopus and he's pretty icky, and the giant sea creature looks like something from a Godzilla movie, but in color (and extremely icky when he's up close). But the scenery was beautiful, the costumes were fun, and it was a pretty film to watch, mostly. Davy Jones's crew were pretty nasty to look at, but I didn't think they were as

I am …yesterday the movie premiered in my country – I watched it! The movie was entertaining which put me at the edge of my sit…thanks to the clear and crisp surround sound by Dolby Digital.

If I am going to rate it 1 to 5 and 5 is the highest, it would be 4 ½. It had a good start but a bad ending…expect part 3.

Oh, these are the questions that were in my mind yesterday too after I had watched it.

But anyway, the movie was funny, I liked it. And Captain Jack Sparrow is just awesome.
