Pinpoint/ pick out

Hi,

"My French tutor assigned me a lot of grammar exercises so that we could pinpoint/pick out all the mistakes that I tend to make/imperfections before I take the exam."

Could I use either 'pinpoint' or 'pick out' in this case?

Thank you.

Ann225 Could I use either 'pinpoint' or 'pick out' in this case? Only 'pinpoint' sounds like a good choice. 'Imperfections' seems wrong.
