Pillows under the eyes

Hi

Do you ever use or have you heard this phrase--pillows under the eyes? How does it sound to you?

Old age/lack of sleep had caused big pillows under his eyes.

I suspect somewhere a plastic surgeon has cashed her cheque to remove the pillows under her eyes.

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks a lot.

What about suitcases and pillows? Are they both non-native?

Hi Mr. Tom,

Suitcases just sounds absurd.
Pillows sounds like a non-native version of bags.
