Picking up the accent

Is it possible to develop any accent naturally without learning about it. Sometimes I feel like, I say things somewhat in an English tone. I don't get it or do you think I would pick them up somewhere?

If you mean developing your accent by imitating the speech of native speakers rather than memorizing phonetic rules, then yes, imitating pronunciation is better than reading about it, especially if you are very good at mimicking sounds.
