Pick Australian or British Accent

Hey guys,I am learning English for 5 years now and an english friend of mine said that my accent is quite a mix between Australian and British so he suggested to pick one and learn it properly. At the moment I try to figure out which one to choose. Which one would you go for? Can you give some pro and cons?Btw my friend who if from London said that I am probably closer to Australian. But maybe an Australian would say the other way around

British, because more people speak it. But it's more important not to make mistakes like those you made above. The exact accent you use is much less important.
