Piaget and Bruner?

Hi.
I grasped the cognitive development theory of both Bruner and Piaget, but I cannot related it to learning. Could you please clear this out for me, if possible? Thank you in advance.

There is much information online on Bruner and Piaget and their theories of learning, so it's all right there for you to read. I'm thinking that maybe what's not clear to you is: if these two figured out how children learn, then why aren't their methods used in schools to make every child a good student?

I've got some questions, maybe they can clear out my confusion.
What does Piaget mean by cognitive development? Is it about intelligence- one mental process?
Is the social interaction important in Piaget'theory?
How comes that we differentiate between things, so that accomodation occurs? Is it because of social interaction?
