phrases need help.

1) Snow on the peaks showing over the pines.

2)Long white aspen lining the stream. What is aspen ?

3) I can see mole burrows humping along under the grass and buffalo weed.

4) The visiting authority is hugging his elbow. Is the visiting authority a person ? what do you mean " hugging his elbow "?

5) His clothes flap around his bones

6) Out in the open where we'd be easy to get at.

7) Nothing but that little horn squeaking and honking out of a soft furry whiteness.

8) you could relax and lose your self ?

9)He is an awful case for thrashing around.
