Phrase to mean "two or more people having a crush on the same celebrity"

Hi,

Can I use the term "mutual crush" to mean that two or more people have a crush on the same celebrity?

For ex: Simone and all her girlfriends had a mutual crush on the same celebrity.

Can "mutual" be used like this or does it always mean feelings of two people toward each other?

I would reserve mutual for a two-way feeling. Instead, you want a shared feeling among the girls. So, perhaps: Simone and all her girlfriends had a group crush on the same celebrity.

(Or you just say "they had a crush on Mr X.")
