Hi guys,

can you please help me with the phrase 'make out' in the following context.

Girl is describing what was happening at her house last night..

Girl: It wasn't really a party. More like a (?) make-out(?) session.

Cop: (suprisingly): With alcohol and joints?

Girl: We were having fun. My mom didn't know lynn's parents were out of town.

My first idea was that make-out session = make over session here....Please is it used in that way

in the US or Canada? Or does it mean simply 'hang out' party?

thanks a lot in advance.

Tomas
