Phrase "go work the line" (from Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares US)

Hi guys,

could you please help me with the phrase "go work the line"?

I'm translating Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares episode and I can't move with that phrase...

Time: 2:12

Woman runing away from the kitchen: I can't do this tonight. I really can't. I can't. You got to go (?)work the line (?), because I'm losing my mind.

Could you please paraphrase what did she mean by that for me?

thanks a lot in advance

Hi, I imagine it means 'work in the line of people who are preparing food in the kitchen'. eg 1 person puts apple pie on the plate, the next person adds some ice-cream, and the last person puts a cherry on top. Clive
