after that i got doubt in using them and confused in forming sentences.

Futher to the replies above, this one is avoided when "Sth" is a long phrase, to prevent the small word "on" being lost at the end. For example, "Did you switch the light in the corridor whose bulb was replaced yesterday on?" feels awkward.
